Quick's Gowganda Lake Camp
The camp is found along the north shore of Gowganda Lake. It is one of Northeastern Ontario's most productive lakes for walleye and smallmouth bass. The Northeastern Ontario Bass Association (NEOAB) opens their yearly tournament circuit on this lake. The camp has 12 housekeeping cottages. They have fully equipped kitchens, private 4 piece baths and at least 2 bedrooms. The majority sleep up to 6 people in them. The more deluxe units come with T.V., microwave and patio doors out on to their deck. They are also carpeted for those that are looking for the comforts of home. On the camp premises can be found a Laundromat, an extra shower house, and a general store. The store carries a wide variety of items from snack foods to meats and vegetables, tackle to live bait and a wide selection of souvenirs. Fishing and hunting licenses, gas, ice, beer and liquor are also available there. |
