Welcome Lodge is located in the Canadian shield which boasts rugged rock formations, majestic pine trees and beautiful scenery. All of the cottages overlook the sheltered waters of the West Arm which provides the perfect setting for both fishermen and families alike. With its 1/2 mile of shoreline, 130 acres of land and thousands of acres of adjacent Crown Land, privacy and serenity abound. The miles of sheltered waterways of the West Arm are a fisherman's delight, even when the weather refuses to cooperage. The West Arm, Lake Nipissing, and the French River are well known for their pickerel (walleye), bass, northern pike, muskie, whitefish and pan fish. As all are easily accessible from Welcome Lodge, the choice is yours. With a variety of quality boats and motors, gas, and fresh live bait, we can cater to all your fishing needs. A launching ramp and excellent docking facilities are available for those who wish to bring their own boats. |
